I have no any previous blog spots & this is my start. So I think to start presenting my works since strat of the January 2010.
Another new year started with big hopes. After completing my post graduate studies I was bit free & also there were not much of work load in my office. So I was free for learning photography.
It was the first weekend of the new year. Since few weeks back I was searching a beautiful flower Niyagala for a photograph & finally I found a one as I want. I started to click my camera & after clicking more than fifty shots this came out. Hmmm I’m really happy about this.

A striking tuberous climbing plant with brilliant wavy-edged yellow and red flowers. The name Gloriosa comes from the word gloriosus, which means handsome and superba from the word superb clearly alluding to the beautiful flowers which appear from September to March Then it was the second weekend of the month January. As usual I went to the field with my loving gadget to catch exciting thing for shooting. Oops it was not a bad day for me. A Home Garden Lizard. I closed to it little by little and I was able to take dozen of shots. Finally I have selected this as my best. I named this as “ On Alert”
